Full Black Appearance with 650W-Class Power

Full black photovoltaic modules are often selected where the solar array remains visible from surrounding buildings, roads, entrances or architectural viewpoints.

The AOX-132G12RHC combines a uniform dark front appearance with up to 650W front-side rated power, allowing commercial projects to consider architectural appearance without moving down to a lower-power residential module format.

This makes the module particularly relevant to premium commercial buildings, corporate facilities, industrial parks, logistics buildings and other projects where photovoltaic output and visual consistency are evaluated together.

Because the module measures 2382 × 1134mm and weighs approximately 33kg, roof structure, handling access and mounting-system compatibility should be confirmed before rooftop installation.

N-Type TOPCon and Half-Cut Cell Technology

The AOX-132G12RHC uses N-type TOPCon half-cut photovoltaic cells with a 132-cell configuration arranged in 6 × 22.

TOPCon passivated-contact architecture is designed to reduce carrier recombination losses and support high photovoltaic conversion efficiency.

Half-cut cell architecture and multi-busbar interconnection provide multiple current-collection paths and support high module power within the 2382 × 1134mm format.

Full Black Bifacial Dual-Glass Construction

The AOX-132G12RHC combines a full black appearance with bifacial dual-glass module construction.

The front side uses 2.0mm high-transmission AR-coated tempered glass, while the rear uses 2.0mm heat-strengthened glass. EVA encapsulation protects the photovoltaic cells within the glass-glass laminate.

A 30mm anodized aluminium-alloy frame provides structural support. The module also uses an IP68-rated junction box with three bypass diodes, 4mm² photovoltaic cable and MC4 or compatible connectors.

Up to 85±5% Bifaciality

The current AOX-132G12RHC specification lists maximum bifaciality of up to 85±5%. The rear cell surface can therefore convert reflected and diffuse irradiance into additional electrical output when sufficient rear-side light reaches the module.

Bifaciality should not be interpreted as a guaranteed percentage increase in annual energy yield. Actual rear-side contribution depends on surface reflectivity, module height, tilt angle, row spacing, mounting structure and rear-side shading.

Elevated installations, light-colored roof surfaces and suitably designed ground-mounted systems can provide more useful rear-side irradiance than modules installed close to dark, low-reflectance surfaces.

EPC contractors should use project-specific irradiance, albedo and array geometry when estimating bifacial contribution.

-0.28%/°C Pmax Temperature Coefficient

The AOX-132G12RHC has a published Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.280%/°C. This value indicates how module maximum power changes as cell temperature moves away from the 25°C Standard Test Condition reference.

The published Voc temperature coefficient is -0.230%/°C, while the Isc coefficient is +0.045%/°C.

These parameters should be included when estimating hot-weather performance and calculating maximum cold-weather string voltage.

1500VDC System Compatibility

The AOX-132G12RHC supports a maximum system voltage of 1500VDC according to the stated IEC specification and has a maximum series fuse rating of 30A.

Final string length should be calculated using module Voc, minimum expected project temperature, Voc temperature coefficient, inverter maximum DC voltage and MPPT operating-voltage range.

The selected inverter's maximum MPPT current and short-circuit-current limits should also be checked against module Imp and Isc before final system design.

           Check Inverter Compatibility

Mechanical Load and Hail Resistance

5400Pa Front-Side Load

The module is specified for a maximum front-side mechanical test load of 5400Pa, equivalent to approximately 550kg/m².

Final structural suitability depends on the approved mounting method, support positions, roof structure and local snow-load requirements.

2400Pa Rear-Side Load

The published rear-side mechanical test load is 2400Pa, equivalent to approximately 244kg/m². Mounting-system selection should consider local wind conditions and the applicable module installation requirements.

Hail Resistance

The current specification lists hail resistance against a maximum 25mm diameter hailstone at an impact velocity of 23m/s.

Where Can 620W-650W Full Black Solar Panels Be Used?

Premium Commercial and Industrial Rooftops

High front-side power can increase installed DC capacity on suitable commercial and industrial roofs, while the full black appearance provides a more uniform visual finish for highly visible roof areas.

Corporate Headquarters and Commercial Buildings

Corporate offices, hotels, retail facilities, commercial complexes and other architectural projects can consider full black modules where visual consistency forms part of the photovoltaic procurement requirements.

Industrial Parks and Logistics Facilities

Large industrial and logistics roofs can use 620W-650W module power to increase DC capacity while reducing the number of modules required compared with lower-wattage modules for the same target system size.

Ground-Mounted PV Systems

The 650W-class power rating, 1500VDC system capability and bifacial dual-glass architecture also allow the module to be evaluated for suitable ground-mounted photovoltaic systems where appearance or project specification requires a dark module design.

Agrivoltaic and Elevated PV Projects

Elevated photovoltaic structures can provide useful rear-side irradiance when module height, row spacing and surrounding reflectivity allow reflected light to reach the rear cell surface.

Full Black Module or Standard High-Power Module?

A full black module is most relevant where appearance is part of the project specification. For roofs that remain highly visible, a more uniform dark module surface can provide a more consistent architectural finish.

For projects where appearance is not important, buyers should compare full black and standard modules based on power, efficiency, bifacial performance, temperature coefficient, module dimensions, weight, delivered cost and system compatibility.

The AOX-132G12RHC is especially suited to projects seeking both high module power and a full black visual design rather than selecting aesthetics alone.

Considerations for Large-Format Rooftop Installation

The AOX-132G12RHC measures 2382 × 1134mm and weighs approximately 33kg, making it substantially larger than typical residential full black photovoltaic modules.

Commercial rooftop projects should verify roof structural capacity, available access, lifting method, mounting-rail spacing and module support positions before installation.

Installers should also verify that module dimensions do not interfere with roof drainage, fire access, maintenance paths, roof penetrations or other building services.
