Product Description
The Ocean Solar AOX-120M10FL is a 430W-445W lightweight flexible solar panel designed for roofs and photovoltaic projects where conventional glass-and-frame solar modules may create excessive structural load. It combines P-type monocrystalline PERC cells with a thin, frameless composite module structure.
Measuring 2246 × 1020 × 2.6mm and weighing only 6.9kg, the AOX-120M10FL delivers up to 445W rated output with a maximum module efficiency of 19.42%. Its low module weight and ultra-thin profile make it particularly relevant to low-load roofs, lightweight structures and suitable non-flat installation surfaces.
The module uses 120 monocrystalline 182 × 91mm cells, an IP68-rated junction box, 4.0mm² output cables and a 1500VDC maximum system voltage. Ocean Solar specifies a 12-year warranty for materials and processing and a 25-year extra linear power output warranty.

Ocean Solar uses optimized composite materials to reduce module weight. The AOX-120M10FL weighs only 6.9kg, and the current product datasheet states that the lightweight design can be approximately 60% lighter than conventional modules at a comparable power level.
Lower module weight can be important for industrial and commercial roofs where existing structural capacity limits the additional dead load that can be added by conventional glass modules and mounting systems.
At only 2.6mm thick, the module has a much lower profile than conventional framed glass PV modules. Its thin construction also makes transportation, handling and installation easier in applications where conventional rigid modules are difficult to use.
The AOX-120M10FL uses a frameless flexible structure instead of conventional heavy front glass and an aluminium frame. This creates additional installation possibilities for suitable lightweight, curved and special-shaped roof surfaces.
The final fixing or bonding method, allowable curvature, substrate condition, wind load and thermal expansion requirements must be evaluated for each project before installation.
The flexible module uses resin-fiber reinforcement to improve the mechanical support provided by the lightweight composite structure. According to the current datasheet, the resin-fiber modulus reaches up to 1300MPa.
Ocean Solar also uses self-developed polymer materials with specified light transmittance of at least 91%. This lightweight transparent layer replaces the heavy front-glass approach used in conventional rigid photovoltaic modules.
V0-rated flame-retardant materials are incorporated into the module construction. Final fire-performance requirements should still be checked against the relevant building and photovoltaic standards for the destination market.
The AOX-120M10FL uses 120 P-type monocrystalline cells based on the 182 × 91mm cell format. PERC technology provides a mature photovoltaic platform for combining 430W-445W module output with a lightweight composite encapsulation system.
Four power bins are available: 430W, 435W, 440W and 445W. Module efficiency increases from 18.77% for the 430W version to 19.42% for the 445W version.
The following values are specified under Standard Test Conditions at 1000W/m² irradiance, AM1.5 spectrum and 25°C cell temperature.

The AOX-120M10FL replaces the conventional heavy glass-and-frame module architecture with a lightweight composite structure. The combination of polymer surface materials, reinforcement layers, encapsulation materials and crystalline silicon cells reduces module weight while retaining the electrical performance of a high-power monocrystalline PV module.

A 6.9kg flexible module can be considered for suitable industrial and commercial roofs where structural loading is a major constraint. The reduced module weight can expand photovoltaic options for roofs that may not be suitable for conventional heavy glass modules.
The thin flexible design can accommodate suitable curved or irregular installation surfaces. The minimum permitted bending radius and fixing method should be technically confirmed before installation.
Flexible photovoltaic modules can also be evaluated for compatible lightweight buildings, shelters and special photovoltaic structures where reducing total PV system weight is important.
Ocean Solar specifies a 12-year warranty for materials and processing for the AOX-120M10FL series. The module also carries a 25-year warranty for extra linear power output.
The current power warranty curve specifies approximately 99% relative power after the first year and an average annual power decline of no more than 0.6% from year 2 through year 25, reaching approximately 89.4% at year 25.

Ocean Solar also offers other flexible solar module power ranges for projects requiring different dimensions, output levels and installation layouts.
The AOX-120M10FL weighs approximately 6.9kg, making weight reduction one of its main advantages compared with conventional glass-and-frame photovoltaic modules.
The module is approximately 2.6mm thick and measures 2246 × 1020mm in length and width.
The 445W model has a specified module efficiency of 19.42% under Standard Test Conditions.
The AOX-120M10FL uses 120 P-type monocrystalline 182 × 91mm cells with PERC technology.
Yes. The product uses a lightweight flexible composite construction rather than a conventional aluminium-framed glass module design.
Flexible modules can be considered for suitable curved surfaces. However, the permitted bending radius, substrate condition and fixing or bonding method must be confirmed before installation to avoid excessive mechanical stress on the photovoltaic cells.
Its 6.9kg lightweight construction makes it relevant to projects where roof load capacity is an important design consideration. A structural assessment should still be completed before installation.
The maximum system voltage is 1500VDC according to the IEC specification. The maximum series fuse rating is 25A.
The AOX-120M10FL uses an IP68-rated junction box. Complete system installation must still follow the applicable cable, connector and waterproofing requirements.
The current datasheet specifies a 12-year warranty for materials and processing and a 25-year warranty for extra linear power output.
The current packaging configuration is 70 modules per pallet and approximately 1400 modules per 40HQ container.
OEM and project customization can be discussed for product labels, packaging, cable length and selected module specifications. Custom dimensions, voltage requirements and installation conditions should be technically reviewed before production.
